A mixed spell ahead though more dry and sunshine weather than anything else.
Thanks to Tracy for the photograph.
The general set-up sees the Azores high pushed back in its box a bit, to allow something more changeable and westerly.

Thursday will be mostly sunny for much of the day, though high cloud will start to build from the west in the afternoon, and it will become hazier. Just 14’C in a north-westerly breeze – quite the change from recent weeks. Cloud thickening in the evening with some bits of rain either side of midnight – mostly light but the odd heavy burst possible. Becoming quite windy and no lower than 10’C – milder later in the night.
Friday will be a mostly cloudy and fairly windy day. Some bits of light rain/drizzle possible at times in the morning, a little brightness also possible. Showery rain a bit more organised into the afternoon, the odd heavy burst possible but mostly quite patchy and moderate. Feeling a bit warmer, 17’C. Clear skies to end the day and much of the night, down to around 9’C.
Saturday looks to see sunny spells and variable amounts of cloud – more sunshine both earlier and later in the day. A chance of a shower. Quite windy and cooler once more – around 14’C. Reasonably clear skies overnight, down to around 6’C.
Sunday starts reasonably sunny, though quite a lot of cloud will bubble up and there will be more cloud than sunshine for much of the time. Around 15’C. Cloud tending to thicken overnight, down to around 9’C.
By Monday we see weather fronts trying to push in from the west, but the Azores high is once again trying to build from the south-west.

Monday looks mostly cloudy with a weak weather front crossing bringing a bit of patchy rain. Breezier and a bit warmer again, up to around 17’C. Probably cloudy and mild/very mild overnight – down to around 16’C.
For Tuesday it looks like we are dragging up much warmer air – but otherwise uncertain on details. Probably there is a weak weather front around so a lot of cloud, and maybe some bits of rain at times. Some brightness possible. Temperatures anywhere between 18’C and 23’C – depending on exact details.
Wednesday probably still in the warmer air yet again – say around 20’C, give or take, but otherwise uncertain as to whether it is cloudy or sunny (ish). There will still be weather fronts around.
Perhaps rain on Thursday.
Then perhaps cooler air again for next Friday and into the weekend – but with more sunshine and dry weather.
Nothing overly autumnal yet – but certainly more changeable than it has been. November is the month to watch for wet and windy weather – though it will have to overcome this stubbornly strong Azores high to our south-west.
Have a pleasant end to the week – next forecast will probably be on Monday morning.
