Hello from Dubrovnik! Sunny and very warm here, and not too shabby at home either with high pressure in charge – more reasonably warm and often sunny weather to come. Autumnal temperatures not too far away though…
Thanks to Fiona for the photograph.
So we are still partly under the influence of the strong low pressure system to our north-west, but the Azores high will start to push our way again.

Today sees plenty of sunshine, some fair-weather cloud and a small chance of a stray shower. Just about getting to 20’C, and a bit of a breeze. Mostly clear skies overnight, down to around 8’C.
Friday again sees good sunny spells, probably a bit more fair-weather cloud around, notably during lunch period, and then some high-level cloud later in the day. Around 21’C and breezy at times. Quite a bit of high cloud overnight keeping it mild, around 12’C.
Saturday sees a very weak weather front crossing – might get the timings a bit off here, but roughly speaking a sunny start, then cloudier – perhaps a spot of rain but very little, then sunnier to end the day. Still fairly warm, around 21’C. Reasonably clear skies overnight, though a chance of fog forming towards dawn, down to around 10’C.
By Sunday, high pressure is very much in control – low pressure systems to the north.

Good spells of sunshine once again, some high cloud around making it hazy at times, plus a bit of fair-weather cloud but overall very pleasant and warm. Around 22’C. Some high cloud around overnight therefore mild, around 13’C. A chance of fog forming towards dawn.
Monday perhaps foggy to start, uncertain, but then broadly brightening up with sunny spells, some cloud and still on the warm side, around 22’C. Reasonably clear skies overnight, though again a chance of form forming before dawn. Down to around 13’C.
The more likely outcome for Tuesday is foggy to start, then becoming sunny and reaching around 21’C. However there is a small chance of a low pressure system bringing some showers, and lower temperatures.
Probably either Tuesday night or early Wednesday, a weak weather front crosses bringing cloud, perhaps a little light rain – but then introduces much fresher air, with temperatures closer to 15’C on Wednesday…yikes. Sunny spells, some cloud broadly – depending on timing of weather front.
Sunny but only 15’C is the more likely outcome for Thursday,
Friday probably sees a spell of wind and rain, with sunshine and showers for Saturday/Sunday, and still quite windy – and temperatures around 14’C.
Yep. Autumn.
Next forecast should be on Sunday morning, enjoy the rest of the week.
